How to Install Your MODS?
A common mistake when trying to install free MODS is installing them in the wrong folder. Many end up trying to install them in the MODS folder of the simulator itself, and it won’t work!
The files must be saved in the MODS folder of your Saved Games, which is native to your Windows:
Example: C:\Users\XXX\Saved Games\DCS\Mods
“XXX” is your Windows username!
Remember to pay attention to which folder to place each MOD; this information is usually provided in the manuals. If any of these folders do not exist, make sure to create them with the correct name, and always check inside the mod file for its structure.
